National Cancer Institute YES Program

As a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center, City of Hope has been a part of the Youth Enjoy Science (YES) program.

City of Hope developed a research education and training program entitled Youth Enjoy Science: Seeking Useful Comprehensive Cancer Education Strategies for Students, or YES2SUCCESS, to provide outreach and mentored research experiences in cancer research laboratories to underrepresented students. Our holistic approach will provide students unique opportunities to gain research laboratory experience and explore STEM-related careers starting from the middle school level.
